Accommodation

Due to high demand for accommodation in Cork, we highly recommend you book early before you arrive to avoid disappointment

The Accommodation Office assists students in finding a suitable place to live. The service provides information and guidance to students on the accommodation most appropriate to their needs. There is excellent information on the CIT Accomodation Page which will help guide you.

Students can phone, call into the office or email for up to date lists and information.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

CIT does not have its own campus accommodation, though a number of new apartment complexes have recently been built adjacent to the main Bishopstown campus of the Institute, designed specifically for the student market. They offer facilities such as ensuite bedrooms and internet access. The rental period for these apartments commences early September each year. Other accommodation types, such as private houses and flats, are also available.  Students studying at the centrally located Cork School of Music or the Crawford College of Art & Design may prefer to look for accommodation closer to the city centre. The National Maritime College is located in Ringaskiddy in Cork Harbour, and accommodation can be booked for visiting students at Ferryview apartments which are within a 10 minute walking distance of the NMCI.
