Fees, Scholarships + Cost of Living

Fees Academic Year 23/24

 

Non-EU Undergraduate €13500 per annum
Non-EU Postgraduate: MSc Data Science and Analytics, MSc Cybersecurity, MSc Artificial Intelligence €15000 per annum
Non-EU Postgraduate: MA Art Therapy* €13500 per programme
Non-EU Postgraduate: All other programmes €13500 per annum

Deposit

 

  • A non-refundable deposit of €1000 is required to ensure your place if you are accepted.
  • You have 4 weeks to pay your deposit once you have been made an offer.
  • Full fees must be paid before a student can register at MTU.
  • This deposit will be deducted from the tuition fees

How to apply for a MTU Scholarship

  • Applications must be received on, or before the dates specified.
  • Candidates will be considered automatically for a scholarship once they have been approved for a programme at MTU.
  • Candidates must be self-funded and classified as non-EU for tuition fee purposes.
  • Successful candidates will be notified if they are in receipt of a scholarship on their Offer Letter.
  • Successful candidates will be required to accept their offer and pay the required deposit of €1,000 within 4 weeks of receipt of offer to secure their place on their chosen course and to secure the scholarship awarded.
  • The purpose of the scholarship awarded is to reduce the published non-EU tuition fee by the amount of the scholarship award. The scholarship amount is not to be dispersed directly to the successful candidate.
  • Scholarships are applicable for each year of study

 

Other Scholarships

The Victory Scholar Program is awarded to US Student-Athletes who play Golf or Basketball and gives them the opportunity to continue to play the sport they love, gain a Masters and contribute to communities throughout the Island of Ireland. Cost of living (Monthly)

 

 

 

* The travel cost is taking on the capped student LEAP fare which has remained at €30/week based on average month of 4.5 weeks

 ** Class materials and equipment cost can vary greatly, particularly for students in Arts, Sciences and Catering. For more detailed information you should contact your programme co-coordinator

Refunds

 

If you are refused a student visa or if you do not meet the condition(s) of your offer, your deposit and tuition fees will be refunded in full. You will need to provide proof.

Please note we must notify the Department of Justice of any refunds made to students who have applied for Study Visas.

 

Withdrawals

 

If you choose to withdraw by 31 October, MTU will retain €1500 of tuition fees paid.

 

Deferrals

 

You can defer only if you have paid your non-refundable deposit.

Students are liable for any changes in fees/scholarship changes.

You have one year to take up your deferral otherwise you will forfeit all fees paid.

You will not be allowed to defer your place if you have been refused a visa.
