Irish Sport

Sport in Ireland is very popular and people play internationally recognised sports like football, cricket, rowing, rugby and tennis. Ireland is also home to the Gaelic Athletic Games (GAA) which promotes indigenous Gaelic games and pastimes, which include the traditional Irish sports of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Gaelic handball and rounders.
