Allied Irish Bank (AIB)

• Download the AIB Mobile Banking App and follow the steps to become an AIB Customer.
• You should wait until you are in Ireland and have the Location Services switched on with your Irish SIM before commencing the process.
• You will need to go through a process to verify your ID
• A letter will be posted to you at your home address. This letter will contain a code which you enter into their AIB App. This will activate your account
• If you do not meet the criteria to open an account with the app, you can open at branch.
• Currently, a two week wait though this might change in September.
